C & C++ Training in Amritsar
C/C++ Programming & System Architecture — our C & C++ course in Amritsar, 16 Weeks. Master the languages that power operating systems, embedded systems, and high-performance computing. Build a deep understanding of memory, pointers, OOP, and low-level system programming.
Course Overview
C and C++ are the languages that built the world. Operating systems, databases, game engines, browsers. We start with C because it forces you to understand memory. Pointers. The stack vs the heap. Why a buffer overflow can crash your program or let an attacker take control. These are not abstract concepts. They are the foundation of every program you will ever write, in any language.
We do not just teach you C syntax. We teach you what the compiler does with your code. What the linker does. What the OS does when your program runs. You will build data structures from scratch using pointers and malloc, implement a hash table with chaining, write a BST with proper memory management, and debug segfaults with GDB. This is the kind of understanding that makes you a better programmer in every language you touch.
C++ is where OOP meets performance. You will learn classes, inheritance, polymorphism, and templates. Not just how to use them, but how the compiler implements them. Vtables. Template instantiation. The STL is taught properly: vectors, maps, algorithms, iterators, and when each container is the right choice. Smart pointers replace raw pointers. Lambdas replace function objects. Modern C++ is a different language from C++98, and we teach the modern way.
The final module is systems programming. Multi-threading with std::thread, mutexes, and atomics. Network programming with sockets. A custom memory allocator. A multi-threaded HTTP server built from scratch. Profiling with gprof and perf, cache optimization, and compiler flags. Sixteen weeks, and you understand what happens at every level from your source code to the CPU.
Curriculum Blueprint
Weekly module breakdown covering C foundations, data structures, C++ OOP, and system-level programming.
- C compilation pipeline: preprocessor, compiler, assembler, linker, and what actually happens when you type gcc
- Data types and memory: int, char, float, double, signed vs unsigned, and why overflow is silent and dangerous
- Operators and control flow: bitwise operations, short-circuit evaluation, and switch vs if-else performance
- Functions and scope: call by value vs call by reference (via pointers), static variables, and the call stack
- Pointers fundamentals: address-of, dereference, pointer arithmetic, and why pointers are the source of 90% of C bugs
- Advanced pointers: double pointers, function pointers, void pointers, and pointer-to-array vs array-of-pointers
- Memory layout: text, data, bss, heap, and stack segments, and why understanding this prevents mysterious crashes
- Dynamic memory: malloc vs calloc vs realloc, free, and detecting memory leaks with Valgrind
- Memory pitfalls: dangling pointers, buffer overflow, use-after-free, and why C gives you enough rope to hang yourself
- Arrays and strings: 1D and 2D arrays, char arrays vs string literals, strcpy/strcat/strcmp, and the null terminator
- Preprocessor directives: #define, #include, conditional compilation, macros vs inline functions, and header guards
- First project: build a command-line utility that reads a file, processes data, and writes output using only C

Common Questions
The things people ask us on the phone before they enrol — answered the same way we would answer them there.
There is no separate price for it. WebPrims charges one fee — ₹4,500 / month — and it covers any course in the catalogue, so the C and C++ course works out at about 4 months — around ₹18,000 in total. No admission fee, no registration fee, and the certificate is included.
Monday to Saturday, with batches starting at 11:00 AM, 1:00 PM, 3:00 PM and 5:00 PM. Each slot runs up to two hours — sometimes a session finishes early, never late. That works out at roughly 192 hours of class time across the 16 Weeks. Pick whichever time fits around college or work, and move to another later if your timetable changes; it is the same C and C++ syllabus in each. We are closed on Sunday.
16 Weeks of taught material, which is about 4 months of C and C++ classes. That is the pace of the syllabus; how long you actually take depends on how often you turn up, and nobody is pushed to keep up with the batch.
No, but it is the hardest starting point we offer. If you have never programmed, Python first will make this course far less painful — same fee either way.
Programs that manage their own memory: data structures built from raw pointers, a small allocator, and code that talks to the operating system directly.
For most Punjab university syllabuses, yes — C and C++ are still the examined languages. For product-company placements it is the DSA course that matters more, and the two pair well.
Yes. Book a free demo class and sit in a real C and C++ session — one that was running anyway, not a presentation arranged for you. Write some code on one of our machines, ask the students already in it what it is like, and decide afterwards. Nothing to pay and no obligation.
Something here not answered? Ask us directly or book a free demo class and put it to the C and C++ mentor in person.
