6 Weeks / 6 Months Industrial Training in Amritsar
In-person industrial training on Majitha Road, Amritsar, for B.Tech, BCA and MCA students. Choose your own stream, build a live project you can defend in a viva, and finish with the certificate and report your college asks for.
Course Overview
Industrial training is the bridge between college and your first job. You know syntax. You have done assignments. But have you worked on a real project with a team, version control, code reviews, and deployment? That is what this training provides, in person at our centre in Gopal Nagar on Majitha Road, Amritsar. Take it as 6 weeks or 6 months, depending on what your university requires.
Students come to us from colleges across Amritsar and the surrounding district, affiliated to Guru Nanak Dev University, to IKGPTU and to others, along with students travelling in from Batala, Tarn Taran and Jandiala Guru. Whichever college you are at, the submission requirements are much the same, and you leave here with all of them: a training completion certificate on our letterhead, help writing the training report, an attendance record, and a project you built yourself and can actually explain in your viva.
We start with industry orientation. Software development lifecycle, agile methodologies, and corporate culture. Development environment setup with IDE, Docker, Git, and CI/CD. Core programming concepts: OOP, design patterns, clean code, and code review. Database fundamentals with SQL, normalization, and indexing. By week 2, you will have built a CRUD application.
Full-stack development is the core. React frontend with hooks, routing, and state management. Backend with REST APIs, authentication, and database integration. Real-world project simulation with sprint planning, daily standups, and demo presentations. This is how real teams work. Then testing, DevOps, and quality assurance: unit testing, Docker, static analysis, and performance optimization.
The final module is capstone and placement. An end-to-end project from requirements to deployment. Technical documentation, API specs, and user manuals. Soft skills: communication, collaboration, and professional etiquette. Placement preparation with resume building, mock interviews, HR rounds, and salary negotiation. Six weeks or six months, and you are industry-ready with a real portfolio.

What You Submit to Your College
Every student finishes with the full set of documents their university asks for, not just the training.
Training completion certificate
Issued on WebPrims letterhead at the end of your training, with your name, the stream you took, and the exact start and end dates your college needs to see.
Help with your training report
The report is usually worth more marks than students expect. We go through the structure with you, review your chapters, and make sure the technical sections describe what you actually built.
Attendance record
Daily attendance is maintained through the training and can be provided in writing if your university asks for it alongside the certificate.
A project you can defend in a viva
You build it yourself, so you can answer questions about it. Source code, documentation and a demo you can run on the day.
Choose Your Training Stream
Your college may have specified a technology, or left it to you. Either way, the training is built around the stream you pick.
Python
Core Python, then a real backend with a database behind it. The most requested stream for CSE and IT students.
Full Stack Web Development
React on the front, Node and a database behind it. One project you build and deploy yourself, end to end.
Front-End Development
HTML, CSS, JavaScript and React, with real responsive work rather than fixed-width demo pages.
Data Science & Machine Learning
Python, pandas and scikit-learn on actual datasets, ending in a model you can explain in a viva.
Data Analytics
SQL, Excel and visualisation. A good fit for BBA, BCA and commerce-side students taking a technical training.
Django Web Development
Python on the server with Django, for students whose college specifies a Python web framework.
PHP & Laravel
Still what a lot of local software houses run on, and still what several syllabi ask for.
IoT & Embedded Systems
Sensors, microcontrollers and a working device. Usually taken by ECE and EE students.
When the Batches Run
Most colleges send students at the same time, so seats go quickest in May and June. Booking early is worth it.
6 Weeks
Summer — around June and July, after semester exams
Second and third year students completing a short training requirement.
6 Weeks
Winter — December to January
Students whose college schedules the short training in the winter break.
6 Months
January to June, and July to December
Final year students doing a full semester of training in place of coursework.
Common Questions
The things students ask us on the phone before they enrol.
Yes. You get a training completion certificate on WebPrims letterhead showing your name, your training stream and the start and end dates. That is the document universities ask for when you submit your training file.
Yes. Report writing is part of the training rather than something you are left to do alone. We go through the expected structure, review your draft chapters, and make sure the technical write-up matches the project you actually built.
Take whichever your university requires — that is usually six weeks after second or third year, and six months in the final year. If your college has left it open, six months gives you far more project time and a stronger portfolio, but six weeks is enough to cover one stack properly.
Six week batches run in the summer around June and July, and again in the December to January winter break. Six month batches start in January and in July. Because most colleges send students at the same time, seats fill fastest in May and June.
Yes. Python, full stack web development, front-end, data science, data analytics, Django, PHP with Laravel and IoT are all available as training streams. If your college has specified a particular technology, bring that requirement with you and we will map the training to it.
You build a working application yourself, with version control, code review and deployment, rather than copying a finished demo. That is the point of the training, and it is also what lets you answer questions confidently in your viva.
No. Students come to us from colleges affiliated to Guru Nanak Dev University and to IKGPTU, among others, and the submission requirements are broadly the same — a certificate, a report and an attendance record. Tell us what your college asks for and we will make sure you leave with it.
Yes. Training runs in person at our centre on Majitha Road in Gopal Nagar, Amritsar, with a machine for every student. Students travel in from across the district as well as from nearby towns such as Batala, Tarn Taran and Jandiala Guru.
Fees depend on whether you take the six week or six month training and which stream you choose. Call or send an enquiry and you will get the exact figure for your combination, along with the current batch dates.
The final module covers resume building, mock interviews and interview practice, and the project you build is what you show to employers. We help you prepare and we point students towards openings we know of, which is honest help rather than a guarantee.
