Course Overview
If you have never used a computer, or if you use one but feel like you are missing something, this course is for you. We start from zero. What is a CPU. What is RAM. Why your computer is slow when you have 50 Chrome tabs open. We do not just teach you what to click. We teach you why, so you can figure things out on your own.
Windows navigation, file management, software installation, and peripheral setup are the foundations. Then we move to the internet: browsing safely, searching effectively, email with proper etiquette, cloud storage, and video conferencing. These are the skills every job requires, and every modern life depends on.
Microsoft Office is the backbone of business. You will learn Word for documents, PowerPoint for presentations, and Excel for data. Not just the basics, but enough to create professional reports, presentations, and budgets. We also cover Google Workspace for collaboration.
We finish with security and digital literacy. Passwords, two-factor authentication, phishing detection, system maintenance, and online privacy. Six weeks, and you go from computer-averse to computer-confident. This is the foundation for every other course we offer.
The classes run in person on Majitha Road, in Gopal Nagar. If you have been looking for computer classes in Amritsar and kept finding places that hand you a booklet, a certificate and very little practice, this is the opposite arrangement: you sit at a machine for the whole session, you are allowed to break things, and somebody with sixteen years of doing this is in the room while you do. You do not need to own a laptop to start.
