Which language to learn first is the question we are asked most, and the honest answer depends on what you are aiming at rather than on which language is better. Python is the easiest to think in and the widest in use. Java is what most Punjab university syllabuses examine and what the large service companies hire for by name. C and C++ are the hardest starting point and the one that makes every language afterwards easier. DSA is not a language at all — it is the thing product-company interviews are actually made of.
None of these is a short course, and that is deliberate. A coding course that ends in six weeks ends before you have built anything that runs outside the classroom. Every course here finishes with something deployed, tested, and in a Git repository you can show somebody, because that is what a person on the other side of an interview asks to see.

Questions people ask before choosing
Do I need a degree to join a programming course in Amritsar?
No. We ask for nothing except that you turn up and do the work, and a fair share of each batch has no computer science background at all — B.Com students, people already working, and a few who left studying years ago. What a degree gives you is the paperwork some employers ask for; what these courses give you is the repository and the deployed project they ask to see next. The second one is harder to fake.
Which programming language should I learn first?
Python, for most people — it removes the ceremony and lets you spend the first month on how to think rather than on syntax. The exception is if your college examines Java or you are aiming at mass recruiters who list it by name, in which case start with Java and lose nothing. Starting with C is defensible but harder, and nobody should start with C because somebody told them it builds character.
Are these coding classes in Amritsar suitable for college students?
A good share of each batch is exactly that, which is why the batch times are 11, 1, 3 and 5 rather than one fixed slot — you take the one your timetable leaves free, and change it when the semester changes. Industrial training and final year project guidance are separate courses on the same fee, and plenty of students take a language course alongside.
Do I need DSA if I already know a language?
Only if you are aiming at product companies or competitive programming, and then yes, it is the whole interview. For agency work, freelance work and most service-company roles, the time is better spent on building and deploying real applications. We say this to people who are about to pay us for twenty weeks of DSA, because it is true.
How long before I can build something real?
Something that runs, within the first fortnight in every one of these courses. Something worth showing an employer, around the halfway mark — that is when the projects stop being exercises and start being applications with a database, a deployment and a repository behind them. Anyone promising an employable portfolio in four weeks is selling the certificate, not the skill.
